Default impala and bonneville intermediate shaft similar?

My friend has a 02 impala and bought a new intermediate shaft because it was clicking like crazy just off of warranty. Does anyone know if the install is similar to bonneville?

the process is the same. but the parts are different. the bonne is an h body and impala ia w body.
