Default Anyone else have this problem....or just me?

When I bought my SSEi in November, there were some stone chips on the rocker panels underneath the back doors. After the fairly heavy snow we had last month, those stone chips turned into...well, a big black spot. There is no longer any paint left under the back doors. I know it had to do with the fact that the county where I do most of my driving doesn't salt the roads....they spread gravel instead, and the throw from the front tires killed the paint . Ironically, that'* where the previous owner resided...and it just now got that way five years later? WTF?
When spring finally rolls around, I'm taking it to have the rockers repainted, so it doesn't look like a$$.

Just wondering it anyone else has had a similar problem with their 2K+ Bonny.

yes i have seen it...its the design of the cars....the 92-95 SSE/SSEi suffered the same "road rash" right infront of the rear wheels.....the 00+ SLE and the SSEi do it also....its not just you

It'* good to know it'* not just mine doing that. It sucks, and there'* not much I can do about it until spring. Then it'* probably going to happen again. Too bad mudflaps just look tacky.

If it'* that bad I would get some of that clear plastic that they use for the invisible bras and have the affected areas of the rocker panels covered. Just my opinion
