didn't you have your parking break set to disable the DRL'*?

I did, then I unplugged everything, but didn't disengage/reengage the parking brake after that. So I dont think it recognized that it had been pushed in previously. Fixing that would have most likely avoided the final relearn but it works now, live and learn. As for why it wouldn't do it the right way initially??? Who knows...
