Ignition
My 2002 bonneville has been giving me trouble with starting. While I turn the key I have to wiggle it at the same time. It has done it off and on for about a year, bur now it seems to be getting really hard to start. Any suggestions???
If I am reading you right, you are having trouble turning the key itself?
As above, try the other key first. Then try moving the steering wheel a bit. Sometimes, in some cars, the wheel gets intself into that exact position that it locks up the ignition. My T-bird was really bad about it. I don't know if our cars have this issue, I expect not due to the ignition placement.
My mother'* Escape was doing exactly this for a while. Really obnoxious. Eventually she had to have the dealership replace the ignition switch.

If swapping keys doesn't help - you may need to replace the ignition switch per this TSB
