Default How much fluid does my supercharger hold?

I changed my supercharger fluid. I was unable to pull much out. What is the fluid capacity of the supercharger?

Thanks

I think it holds the same as about one bottle of supercharger oil.

How many ounces are in a bottle (a guess would be fine). I use Amsoil so I am not sure what the original bottle sizes are.

Thanks again

I wouldn't recommend using anything other than GM Supercharger oil (P/N 12345982)

Each bottle holds 4 Oz.

That the fact that the SC needs the oil properties to be percise too. I'm not saying Amsoil wouldn't work, as it will, but the proper fluid type is always best.

I've heard that the GM oil is bulletproof and made with fatty acids. I would be afraid to substitute something else. I think the company who makes it starts with an "N."

I'll agree 100%. Considering the price of repairs, I wouldn't use anything that wasn't proven. The Thunderchicken forums are as adamant about this as we are. Nothing but the right stuff.

Follow my procedure up in Techinfo for changing/flushing the oil. You'll get more that way.
