This is about the best thing I can recommend. Two 10mm bolts hold the bracket on (go with a ratcheting wrench). The map sensor is connected to it, but easily removed and I just leave mine bracket off all the time. Makes getting to the plugs so much easier. Having headsrs on the car helps as well for future removals.

I have owned an Regency, a LaSabre, and 2 Park Aves since '87 and there just isnt a good way. I resigned myself to just replaced the wires when I did plugs. Cut them off at the plug and use a deep socket. When you consider the heat involved in cementing them to the plug in the first place, How good could the back wires be anyway??? Often a bad wire causing a misfire is what tipped me off to change the Plug/Wires in the first place.

I can get my right hand finger tips on the driver'* side rear boot, but the others, I still haven't figured out how to touch; let alone get ahold of.

Does anyone know how to remove the heat shields on the rear boots?
