Rogue,
Did you get the 105# springs and OR pushrods installed? Why the sudden change to cam vs higher ratio rockers. Impressive gains so far.

They are going in tomorrow morning. I will need them for the cam anyway. As for the why the cam now, I have the money and want the horsepower. Rockers will give you about 20-25 whp and the 1x cam will give me about 30whp more than that. The cam will also help the engine breath a bit better than the rockers (im still fighting some KR). You can't use 1.9 ratio rockers and the 1x cam as the lift will be to high and youll start snapping valve and chipping piston heads. I'm going down to the 3rd gen 1.6 adjustable rolling rockers so I will keep some of the benifts of the rolling rockers (the rolling part ;0 )

The rockers have been in since early January and I have nothing but love for them. The cam is just better ( I have to keep up with Mr. Jones, i mean Whiskey9

Rogue your a lucky man, Lets us know how all goes tomarrow, the springs take some time to install.

Got to keep up with Whisky ehh, Wish I had Intenses support locally and funds to make that leap, are you prepared for a new tranny? Don't think yours will last much longer with the 1x and the way you drive. The tranny breaking after Cam is what held me back, here lots of stories threw ILGPC, they all love their cams just their input shafts don't.

Good luck you SOB!!!

Newbie, don't worry about Rockers, they do what they say and are worth it big time for the higher RPM gain, I love mine, been in for 800miles or so.

Yea, going to be about 4 hours. I would do the cam at the same time but I want to get a dyno with the new pcm and no valve float first.

Actually as worried as i am about the tranny it (so far) has never given me a bit of trouble. And if it goes, then I'm just that much closer to getting an intense tranny

Absolutely. Higher RPM gain, better gas mileage, more torque, almost as good as the 3.4/cai combo

Taylor D, You got the springs and OR pushrods along with the 1.9'*. What are your shift points and have you experienced any valve flloat (probably not with heavier springs)
If you still got the stock shift points...what kind of gains do you see , low rpm and midrange?
