Default Hood Light....

does anybody (mainly SE) have a hood light??? cuz on a website for bulbs, they have a replacment one for hood lamp..... my car doesnt have one.. is this normal? or what?? its weird that a 24-26,000 *back in 02 * car doesnt have a hood light...strange....

Ive looked at 2001-2002 SE and SSEi'* and cant seem to locate the under hood light

There is none. The 93 one isn't much better, you have to have the parking lights on for it to work.

correct. There isn't an underhood light on a 2000+. They did it to save money in assembly from what I hear. (they saved a whole $2 on each car.)

2 freakin bucks?!?!?! well luckly i have nice shop lights so they are lucky!!! 2bucks.. man..
they could off just used black lung nuts instead of those stupid black plastic covers that the tire shop break!!!!! im sure that costed more the 2 bucks!! i mean damn, my g/f'* sister'* 87 toyota POS has a hood light!!

well, if they made 300,000 Bonnevilles and saved $2 on each one, that is an extra 600,000 for GM in savings. It makes sense from their standpoint.
