does anybody (mainly SE) have a hood light??? cuz on a website for bulbs, they have a replacment one for hood lamp..... my car doesnt have one.. is this normal? or what?? its weird that a 24-26,000 *back in 02 * car doesnt have a hood light...strange....

Ive looked at 2001-2002 SE and SSEi'* and cant seem to locate the under hood light

There is none. The 93 one isn't much better, you have to have the parking lights on for it to work. :?

correct. There isn't an underhood light on a 2000+. They did it to save money in assembly from what I hear. (they saved a whole $2 on each car.)

they could off just used black lung nuts instead of those stupid black plastic covers that the tire shop break!!!!! im sure that costed more the 2 bucks!! i mean damn, my g/f'* sister'* 87 toyota POS has a hood light!!

well, if they made 300,000 Bonnevilles and saved $2 on each one, that is an extra 600,000 for GM in savings. It makes sense from their standpoint.
