does anyone know what our hoods are made out of? Is it steel or aluminum? I could have sworn they were aluminum, but I can see rust bubbles on the edge of mine...

they are alum, and the 00 had a problem with bubbling, it was the primer that they used on the hood, i believed that some of the members had the hood repainted with the new primer at the dealer for no cost

there have been some members with luck at the dealers with
getting it fixed. and some who haven't.

Warranty on paint is 6 yrs, I was too late by 3 weeks depends when your car was made they can bring it up on computer.

the warranty is technically for RUST THROUGH corrosion... thats why some people have good luck getting it covered and some dont, it all depends on how nice the dealer wants to be, there is technically no extra warranty on the blistering
