High idle 2000 -2500

last weekend the car idled at 2K from the time I started it til it got turn off. On the next start it wen to 2500. Has not done it again. Anyone have this problem?

Things you will want to check is your PCV valve, Throttle position sensor, EGR valve, and the throttle body for build up. Clean if needed.

I would also check the maf if the rest doesn't help. Although I think you'll find tapping the TPS may fix the issue.

Thanks. I will clean the TB. The MAF is only 6 months old.

Happened to me, didn't set an SES light til it was really bad, $45 from autozone and special torx bits to fix it, your gonna need the torx bits to clean the TB anyways
