Ok..I tapped the blue wire and it'* not powering up the LED. I connect the lead to the + (Orange wire) of the cigarette lighter and it works. Any other wire I can tap?

Well...I ended up running a + wire over to the HUD panel where I have my Aeroforce gauge 12v switched tap. That worked ok.
FWIW - I'm installing a lighted rocker switch that I'm using to activate the Performance Shift functionality of the PCM. The LED will light when the switch grounds the wire coming from the PCM to the ground from the switch. (Hope that makes sense.
)
Is there a wire on the shifter at all?
Thanks

There really isn't a lot in the console other than the traction control, lighter, and light for the PRNDL display. The 2000s had the heated seats swtich there, but I believe they moved them under the radio starting in 2001. If you have heated seats...maybe picking up something there?
