Please help.I have an 03 Bonneville.Very hot outside lately.All of the sudden the compressor is clanking like a bunch of keys on a keyring when turned off.Soon as I turn on the a/c it stops immediatly.Any input greatly appreciated.

What is the best way to trap the clutch so that you can loosen the center bolt in order to use the tool to widen the airgap that is too close?Thanks

You can use one of those wrenches that have the rubber strap, those work real well.
