Heater/AC problem-please advise
Newbie here, I drive a 2000 Bonneville SE. I looked through old threads to see if there was anything discussed about this problem but could find nothing.
The problem started last summer. When I ran the AC, water would come into the car under the dash on the passenger side. I had a mechanic look at it and he said a line was plugged, and he drained it. He also said there was a rubber elbow I believe, on the line somewhere that needed to be replaced. He ordered the part, but did not put it on yet. On my way home, I tried running the AC but it would not turn on. I took it back to the mechanic, and he checked all the fuses, and found no problems. I asked him if that elbow he took off had anything to do with it and he said no.
I replaced the blower motor (which was junk) myself but the system still did not work. I also replaced the resistor, but still no luck.
The only other thing I can think of is replacing the climate control module. Before I drop anymore money into it I wanted to bounce this problem off of you all to see if you had any other ideas what the problem may be.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
