Default Heated Seat inoperable, 2002 Pontiac

This is my first time on a forum, I am desperate for some technical support for the heated passenger seat on the 2002. The leather seat cover appears to have three Negative Temperature Coefficient Thermistors glued into the cover to communicate the resistance to the controller. The wires burned in two on the center one and there is an intermittent open on the door side of the sea thermistor. I have downloaded the TSB #01-08-50-012B (Mar 31, 2005) and the Heated Seat Schematic, Right Seat. The schematic shows the NTC Thermistor (Heated Seat Cushion Front Passenger) connected to the pair of gray wires but I find no additional information about them anywhere. I am thinking that there should be a stick on replacement part available or wondering if they somehow built them in the repair kit. I have GM 25730797 seat heater replacement kit, but don't find any replacement Thermistors. All of my heating elements connected together measure about 5 ohms. Does anyone know about the Thermistors?

I've never heard of a thermistor failure. Most of the time the problem is a break in a heating element. Can you re-solder the wires to the existing thermistors? Chances are the wire broke off but the thermistor is still good.

If you do have to replace the thermistors, I would take one to an electrical supply store to see if they have an acceptable substitute.
