I had the IP out and checked for power on the connector. I have hot all the time and ignition switched. The ground wire ohms out to the battery. I cleaned the male plug with with small wire brush and checked the female socket, none of the pins are bent.

I don't believe all the stepper motors for the gauges are bad but not sure how they are controlled. Is the controller card in the IP??

My best bet might be to try a working IP. How much for IP to 16137 USPS Parcel post or what ever is cheapest? The miles shouldn't matter what'* an extra 20k when you have 173k already.

Thanks for the quick reply!

Ed

Same problem I'm having with my SE cluster. RPM gauge just randomly picks a place and will stick or will try to act like the motor is revving up to 6k when its only 2k. Going to get a SLE cluster when I redo the dash with Gunner'* SSEi wiring

Got gauges today and installed, they work once again. Looks like I lost a couple of dash lights in shipping but you will have that.

Thanks sawgunner

My gauges worked fine up to the point nothing moved. Might be fixed be IP but not exactly the same.
