Default gas gauge fix-HELP

I got the new parts and the sensor looks the same as the pictures. Why do you use only the arm? It might be obvious when I have the old sensor in my hand but why not use the whole sensor if possible. Thanks, Mike

I noticed that also, when I did mine. I used just the one part though. It is possible the resistance of the sensor is different or something, so I just did what was already known to work. That was close to a year ago and everything is still working just fine.

Default re gas gauge fix

Just finished. Saw why, the two don't have the same fastenings. Gauge seems to be working now. Hopefully this was causing some other electrical gremlins.
