Front passenger window regulator died
And it cost me $469 to have it fixed. But the dealer took pity on me and gave me a 15% discount on the parts and labor. I could have kissed him for that, but I didn't.
That is the third regulator in two years of owning this car.
Is it worth calling Pontiac customer support and telling them what they can do with their window regulators? Has anyone gotten satisfaction from them???

Many here have used an ebay seller that had improved upon the design. I don't think any of those have failed. If it happens again, you might want to look into the ebay route instead of putting the same part in again.

That is correct. It was the passenger front window regulator that died. And, the driver front has been acting funny as well.
Both rear regulators went last year...
It'* a shame. I love driving the car but I wonder what else can possibly go wrong...
What is the Pontiac customer dis-service number???

I must say I'm not surprised to hear this because our Bonnevilles' front windows make creaking and cracking noises when they're almost all the way up/and down.
Pontiac won't doa nything about this becuase Buick, Oldsmobile, and some Cadillacs used the exact same part.. it'* not only a pontiac bonneville issue.

When I test drove mine with the dealer guy I tried out all the windows; the front passenger one didn't work. Needless to say he was a little embarassed and they fixed it before we even started doing paperwork. Now, my left rear window went out the other day; I need to track down this ebay guy.

Come on guys Change out your own regulators It'* not that big of a deal I've only had to change out the left rear so far, but when the others go out, I will do them MYSELF. The dealers charge big money because they know the people who don't want to do it themselves, have big money.
You don't have to go to eBay. Here is the direct link :
