Man, that sux. I can't believe they are treating you this way. My dealer took care of me the one time I needed help. It was done fast. I just don't get it.
I stirred the pot for you. Pontiac Customer Service has been really great in the past when responding to these types of problems. You should hear something soon. In the meantime, can you PM me your phone numbers?

David Stanley called me 15 minutes ago and said that the follow-up
is to be done by 25 Oct.
I called Ferguson Pontiac to verify and the said the parts dept. stated 27 Oct.
So maybe they are getting their act in gear!
If yours was the prod, I owe you many kudos!
I'll keep all informed!

Interesting post. I am having a similar problem with my DIC. I purchased my Pontiac from a Pontiac dealership that is actually a conglomerate of GM dealerships with the service department run by Chevrolet. Been waiting for a replacement DIC since Aug 28th.
My next service will be at an authorized Pontiac dealership that only services Pontiacs and Buicks.
