Engine Noise

I am getting a "rattling" sound on start-up in the morning on my Bonneville - sounds like a random tapping noise? The car has only 30,000 miles. It is under warranty so I have to get it in to the dealer but has anyone had a similar problem and if os, is this anything serious?

Couple things come to mind..

Cat converter shield weld broke
Pulley bearing

If it'* only at idle, it could be a SC coupler. 30k would be the earliest worn coupler I've heard of though.

I don't hear my 03 SSEI doing it, but I have a company van (Venture) that does it. My last bonny (93 SSE) did it and I hated that noise.. They replaced that Cat. Converter and it didn't help. FYI..
