Default Engine light and shaking

Last night everything was fine when I got home. I go to wash it this morning and is starts up then almost sounds like it wants to stall.
Open the hood and the whole engine exspecially around the belts seem like it is shaking.
Put it in gear it gets worse.
Any ideas?
Safe to take it to local shop? If it will even make it. Or anyone have anything to check the code near clarkston?

Without knowing the code, there'* not much to go on. Start with the basics: check your wires, pull the IAC and MAF and clean them. This could also be the result of a bad batch of gas. How long has it been since you changed the fuel filter?
