It was the relay.
I now have a remote trunk release that doesn't work.....until the new relay comes in on Wednesday.
Thanks for the help Mark.

I've got air again.

Rear Integration Module (RIM) Kind of like a Body Control Module in the back end of the boat. The RIM controls some functions/accessories in the aft end of the car such as the ELC compressor.

Say Mark. You seem to know a lot about electrical devices.
I noticed that the cigar lighter relay was very warm compared to the others. All I have connected to it is my radar detector. Would that be enough to heat it up :?:

The cigar lighter relay is picked up with ign. on & drops out 10 minutes after ign. off. So it'* pretty much continuous duty and is always dissipating heat. As for the radar detector, it is designed to operate off a cigar lighter. It looks like the cigar lighter ckt. & relay is fused for 40 amps in the fsm. Some of the other relays may not be picked up or under load when compared to the cigar relay.
