Have a question have a 2000 se with the dual climate air system i 'm getting a/c on the pass side and heat on the drivers side are there two different temp sensors i have to clean to re-establish control over my hvac or do i have something more involved gpoing on. in advance.

try recharging your a/c system mine was doing the same thing and after a recharge of a/c she was working normal again

I guess you didnt understand me I have no problems with the a/c i have a problem with heat only on one side. I wanted to know if they have two interior temp sensors that control the independent temp controls. everything else works fine.It'* winter time here in virginia and wifey is complaining

i'll check the diagrams you may have a bad air mix acutator but i will check to see how many sensors for air temp there are gimme a couplle minuites and i'll post again with the results

sorry for the mix up looks like there is only one on the driver side behind the panel under the steering colum but as far as the diagram is showing there is only one #13 in the pic

my wife is complianing that i haven't fixed the passenger seat heater yet so i feel ya

thanks for the quick reply i really appreciate it. ill tear it apart tommorrow to clean that sensor cant really complain had the car 10yrs and this is the first problem with it , again

Finally got it fixed there are 5 actuators on the airbox. the one that controls the temp on the passengers side is the one right behind the glovebox just take out the liner three 7mm screws. That actuator is the most expensive $285.00 but she has heat and she is out of my beloved silverado. as far as temp sensors there are 3 on the driver side in the dash ,in the outermost vent and one down underneath the dash. There are 2 on the pass side in the outermost vent and underneath the dash. Thanks for all the help
