Default door lock horn chirp

now that it is getting warm out i am being reminded of the weird issues that seem to only happen when its warm out. The one im asking about is it seems that whenever the outside temp get above 50ish when I lock the doors the horn seems weak and kinda "airy" for a lack of better words. if I honk the horn it sounds normal and whenever its cold out it sounds fine when I lock the doors. What im wondering is if anyone else has noticed a similar problem or maybe if there is a poor wire connection or something else?

More than likely a poor connection, perhaps on the the horn itself?
The horn is a pita to get to but not impossible. Remove the drivers side front tire and forward wheel well trim. Now you can see the horn.
