I have an aftermarket wtereo in my 01 and someone said that the ribbon typr needs to be relcoated, just wanted to say your incorrect. Mine is Ribbon type and took it out. I did lose my door chimes, could of keeped them put didn't care and only lost my onstar, could of paid to keep that hooked up too. So really you don't lose anything, it just cost to keep what you got.
So guy buy one already. BTW you gotta through a pulley on there too right away, I'm hooked on the mod bug too, it'* ok, my name is Taylor and I have a car addiction! Say it with me.

if you have your fans run all the time, you are putting extra load on your electical system, more draw on your altinator, and load on the engine. If you burn out an alt early, you are looking at big $$ on these cars. Trust me! The 'juice' may not be worth the 'squeeze' in this case.
