back to the t-stat... cant you have a winter/summer switch... where on summer the fans run continuicly, and on winter they are thermostated?
whats a fan worth? like 350buxx? mice nuts...

i wouldnt really want the fans to run all the time in the summer, but i do understand what your saying, on my camaro'* i had my fans reprogrammed to come on at a lower temp, but since im starting with a 194 degree stat to that of a 180 theres no reason to add any programms or a switch

I have an aftermarket wtereo in my 01 and someone said that the ribbon typr needs to be relcoated, just wanted to say your incorrect. Mine is Ribbon type and took it out. I did lose my door chimes, could of keeped them put didn't care and only lost my onstar, could of paid to keep that hooked up too. So really you don't lose anything, it just cost to keep what you got.

if you have your fans run all the time, you are putting extra load on your electical system, more draw on your altinator, and load on the engine. If you burn out an alt early, you are looking at big $$ on these cars. Trust me! The 'juice' may not be worth the 'squeeze' in this case.

But they wouldn't have to run all the time. The point of having the manual fan control is to provide cooling for those special times when the conditions are just right.
It'* not +80* F outside everyday.....at least not around here.

A pretty red one? I've heard the blue will get you more HP! Don't forget the stickers! What intake are you talking about? I know ADTR makes a "red intake" but not for our model year vehicle. The Thrasher CAI was designed for the Grand Prix, and it did take a little bit of tweaking and tuning (mainly cutting!) to get it in, but there is a gain, and it does emit a nice sound now.
