Default diag. cod p1020 2000 ssei

I threw code p1020 and it says maf vaf low system circuit voltage. Does anyone know if that means I have a bad maf sensor or just something like a ground problem or something like that. MAF 219 from dealer and i would hate to put one on for no reason

It could possibly be a bad sensor. I would check the connection aswell as clean the MAF there is directions in techinfo. I have been told if you unhook the sensor and run without it and the code goes away that it'* a bad sensor. Someone else should verify that though, as I'm unsure.
