Looking to add a brushed aluminum dash trim to my 2005 SLE. Was wondering if anyone had some feedback on what the best mfg was out there.....

Is this a whole new dash piece that goes in place of the stock plastic one? If not, any stick-on kit will look horrible on these dashes (IMO). But I'd like to see it regardless.

I'm wondering how many pieces that would be. I'll have to do some research. The trim panel around the gauge cluster and radio/AC especially, is not very accommodating for trim pieces. But other areas on the console/doors may look alright.

there are so many lines and curves to make it look nice with adhesive vinyl.. I think the best would be some special type of paint.

I have an extra dash piece to try it on..
