So you don't have to buy any different bulbs? You just take the orange pieces out? If not, then could someone please tell me what kind of bulbs to get, cause I will probably do this after work tonight. Oh, and how hard are the rear lights to do? Once I do the front, I will probably be motivated enough to try the rears! Thanks, Brad

When I pulled my lights, i also pulled the inner fender cover, cause I was scared of breaking the headlights...put some pliers over the ball, and pinched down the little "barbs" that kept them in. But yeah, its definitely worth the effort

the amber is a plastic lense, its clipped in and pops right out after loosening some clips

I did it and it looks great.Really had alot of trouble with the glue they used.It was really tough pulling them apart.Maybe they wised up from when they had trouble with the Grand Prix headlights leaking and fogging up and falling off on the 97-03 models.I had to glue mine and my daughters and my wifes Grand Prixs.I was wondering though my GXP headlights look like black or smoked lenses and yours looks more clear or white. Are the headlights different on the GXP models than an SE ,SLE,or an SSEI??When I tore mine apart they did have a lot of black in them. Also you said your tailights now look like a GXP.Did yours have yellow in them also.I looked at mine and they had yellow bulbs and white lenses with no yellow. Thanks for all the help you gave me.

Trick is to use a heat gun on the corners when pulling out the lens and it will pop right out, PLUS no one mentioned and I think it'* important..........put some cardboard or plastick under the lens before you pop it out to save it from scratching off some paint around the lens housing!!!
