clearing headlights
I guess the silicone they used on those headlights is a LOT different than what Chrysler uses. I tried to take apart my headlights and whatever black silicone/adhesive they used is as hard as plastic, mind you this is a 2004, so it'* not old and dried up :?
Very easy to do and it just looks so good! If you're daring enough, try the tail lights! Much harder to do, but so well worth it. Of course, I destroyed my right tail light on the first attempt.
Good to hear it worked out for you, looks SO MUCH NICER cleared. Now get the courage and do the rears. Just have lots of silicone on hand to patch up the demolition.
I just re-cleared my new headlight the other day, was in an accident, didn't take long at all. Just used to flat head screw drivers for the clips and the prying.
no cuts that way, side note did just get a bad cut from heatshield by the cat, was changing out the 02 and next thing, we got a bleeder. don't call it a knuckle buster for nothing.
a shot of the rear'* cleared to tease all of you!
