Car Stalling when starting.....?
OK, check the wiring going to it. We've had more than one case of a critter climbing up under the sight shield and gnaw on the wires. If you had a service engine soon light, that would have been helpful to know in your original post.
FYI on the flashing engine light. That is a "possible catalyst damaging condition" and usually a misfire.
As mentioned, I'd also suggest starting with plugs and wires, general tune up.

I am still giving it a tune up i replaced all the plugs and wires and it was still stalling, now i found a vacuum leak and i got a new one and now my car will only stall and sputter when its a cold start, after getting to normal running temp, if you shut it off it will start right up no problems....i cant figure it out
