ive checked fuel pressure, that was one of the first checks i did. its good. no compression check. its throwing a p0420 code, which could be a misfire, or other things that ive already checked(o2'* , cat, etc). somebody suggested i just unplug the maf and drive it a bit to see if thats it. if that dont work, it'll have to wait until my next paycheck, ill take it to a stealership then.

ive "heard" that you can also check a MAF by lightly tapping it while idling...if it stumbles any, that is a sign of a bad MAF as well. Not sure how true that is though.

yes he has. that was last replaced part.
his code he'* got points to a emissions issue really. cat, O2 sensor...so on.
can i ask what O2 brand you used? always a chance of bad parts too. normally a bad o2 will still let it run though, just be really lean or rich...not die though.

i put on denso o2'*, alot of people recomended them. the car didnt actually start dying until after i changed the o2'*, it was just stumbling/jerking before. i actually pulled out the MAF and the little wire with the diode was intact. :? the o2s looked like they needed to be changed, especially the upper. it had a bunch of crap on it, probly from when my coolant was being burned when my LIM failed. but when i changed them, the code didnt go away and it started dying. im thinking its something before the o2'* thats either making it misfire or mess up the mixture. :?

i would be checking compression i think. just to know you don't have a major issue due to coolant situation. could be a bum valve...number of things really. comp check easy to do with guage....

ok, one of the guys in my fbody club im in should have one. ill look into that. i noticed just now on the way home, when the car hesitated, that the boost gauge went up, but the rpms stayed at 1k for a few seconds, then went up. :?

Have you tried cleaning the MAF yet? My car would stumble just as the boost gauge hit 1-2 psi. I also noticed the DIC would show around 13 instant MPG. I checked alldata, but could not find a test procedure for the MAF without the use of a scantool.
