Maybe it'* the one Fram filter we like. That frame looks much easier than what DH went through to put the filter into the car.

The fiter shown by Pontiac GXP looks just like the one in my LaCrosse. But I went to Advance and they listed and carried at that store, the one shown by Country?? Are they different filters for same apllication, Pgxp'* looks like it seats in the hole alot better and has gaskets. Anyone know what The Pontiac OEM Filter looks like? The LaCrosse is OEM Buick has the frame and gasket.and woder if Anvance is just carrying a cheap wannabe?

I think Singscountry (TRacy)'* filter was her original dirty filter.

I was just given a '99 Mercury Sable LS by my Mom. When I was going over the car, I noticed that the owner'* manual said that the car had a cabin air filer. Knowing that my Mom never had it replaced, I popped off the cowl (breaking 3 push on clips) and behold, no air filter! I went to Advance and bought a replacement and just dropped it in. So, for about $10, I now have this "option". Seems like Ford is leaving these filters out too on some of their cars.

...makes you wonder what other phantom options are missing.
