Exactly what is the "booster guage" supposed to read? Mine seems to ride normally at the bottom of the left on the guage and if I step on it, it gets to about half. What is this measuring?

The - side of the gauge is vacuum while the + side is your boost. At idle you should be close to -8 or so while at WOT you should see somewhere around +6 if your stock. It is actually gauging manifold pressure.

Thank you and I will check my guage on the drive home - nice to have another excuse to try the "supercharger" and make everything is still perfect!
I appreciate the help.

You own those cars and you didn't know what your boost gauge is.

I'm sure there are plenty of others who also didn't know what it was measuring.
