Default Battery is $130? Type 79 or 100?

A bit of a sticker shock when I expected this battery to be cheaper than my SUV (Which was $90)

The guide shows the Supercharged version takes group size 100 (Which I can get for $77) but apparently the non-supercharged takes size 79. Can I just go with the 100? It'* a bit longer but haven't looked to see if it will fit. It has more cold cranking amps (880 vs 770) I believe.

I don't see why not. They're just cranking batteries after all and both engines should have the same starter.

I would stick with the Group 79, 880 CCA. The additional load on the engine at crank with the SC, pulley and serpentine belt added in can be a bit much.

I cranked my L27 a dozen or so times when I was having electrical issues with one of these:
