Alternator Dead
All fixed up ...
Went to the dealership they chaged the alternator and the temp sensor - $540!
they reset all my codes so i could watch for the Service Stability System warning. They didn't want to change any parts out because i had some "low tire pressure" codes in history, and the mechanic said those could cause the SSS light to occur intermittantly.

I was a little aggrivated at a buddy for spending all of his money when he knew I could fix it for him in 10 minutes... But I was happy that he got a lifetime warranty... I think it was parts and labor... I forget... At least he got a quality AC Delco Reman tho...
That is a bit expensive, but you should have a decent warranty...
Glad to hear you got it all fixed

Yeah check and see if the Alt has a Lifetime warranty... If not that you should have at least 1 full year parts and labor iirc...

How did they justify $ 530, for alternator and temp sensor I know it is a dealer but whoa.
In Canada alt is $ 130 lifetime and SENSOR cant be much, thank god for warranty.
