I did some searching but found nothing. My car now has an onstar mirror but not the autodimming feature. I had it in my last car and now I miss it, so I want to pick up an autodimming one with onstar. I've found some, mainly from GXP'* it seems. Does anyone know if this will work in a 2001?

SSEi'* have em, SLE'* are more stripped than GXPs or SSEi'*, what was your last car? I have that on my 2001 SSEi'* along with the tinted side view mirrors.

yes the GXP or SSEI mirror will work

do a search here, there have been a few that have installed the Autodimmer on the 00+'*

My car is an 01 with auto dim and OnStar.

My last car was a 2000 Chrysler LHS. I didn't think I'd miss the autodimming mirror much but, I do. I know if i pulled one from a '00-03 it would work, but i wasn't sure if there were any changes in the OnStar system in 04, so that'* all I wanted to check on. Thank you all.

Well I have the OnStar mirror with autodimming now, haven't had a chance to really look into yet though. However, I got the wiring harness diagram for my '01 mirror and for the GXP that it came out of, and there is a slight difference in the harnesses. I'll have to look into it more this weekend.

If all else fails.. I'll just hope someone with a 00+ shows up to the Framingham meet in two weeks and I'll take a peek
