Default 2003 SLE

This may sound like a stupid question, but did all SLEs come with the air compressor and outlet by the trunk latch. I dont think mine has it unless it is in another location. I know it has ELC because I can hear it sometimes.

Thats really stupid. I also don't like how the HUD wasn't availble on the SLE(2000+) and in the later years became optional on the SSEis.(I think after the MY01 or MY02)

By the way toastedoats, I noticed you the third brake light overlay. I was too excited when I got in the mail yesterday, and applied the decal in +4F temperature. So far it has stayed on but I will see. Have any problems with yours in the winter or any thing of the like.

the 04+ Bonnes (all trim levels) have the ELC and earlier some years may have to also.

and the HUD was standard with the SSEi package unless it was a custom order delete

that is what i thought....but only the SSEi has the schrader valve and the button for the compressor in the trunk....in sure that it would be easy to make the conversion

No I pretty sure that towards the end of the Bonnies days that they made HUD optional. It was around the same time they started making ABS optional on the previous gen Grand Prix. I could be wrong but I am pretty sure Im right. I know when the 2000+ gen Bonneville came out it was standard, then GM started cutting content out of most cars and making it optional. ex: lighted vanity mirrors on base cars, ABS.

You do have an air compressor I have no idea where it is located. For what its worth the battery is under the rear seats.
