Default 2003 Pontiac Bonneville, V6 3.8L DRL lights

I'm replacing the headlight bulbs with LED bulbs. However because they are LEDs the DRL function doesn't work. I think if I put in a DRL module to act as a voltage conditioner the function would work again. So besides the DRL relay what'* the easiest access point to the DRL line?

Is the LED designed for reduced voltage?

I believe the lowest working voltage is 9v.

I believe the headlights are controlled by the BCM.
