2001 SSEi misfiring
i'm currently experiencing the same problems on a 2001 ssei. I replaced a coil pack and module. I'm also looking to replace my icm bracket because the screws that hold my 1 and 3 coil is stripped. ive checked the trans fluid and oil also. I have a service engine soon light and service vechile soon light that illuminates every blue moon but while i'm driving. Its pulsing and running rough while driving. Any suggestions?

XRob, you've got a different problem, so I moved your post to its own thread.
If your SES light is flashing, and your car is running rough, you've got at least one cylinder misfiring. Since you say your ICM is damaged, you might have solved your own problem. Just pick up another ICM and things should be back to normal.

I had this happen twice to me. Once it was a corroded contact between the coil and the plug wire, second time it was a bad plug wire at the spark plug. Have to ask, have you replaced your plugs and wires lately? They seem to be the most common cause of the problem you are experiencing.

I got a tune up last summer i think or sometime in august. i will go in and check the wires then plugs. i will also check for corrison. i'm heading to the jyard today so i will be picking up a icm module as i have already have a spare connector.
Again my code is P0449...i'm guessing my crank sensor is faulty as i just replaced the battery also.
