Is it possible to have two different houses programmed? I noticed that there are 3 separate buttons up in the headliner?

Just hold the remote for the item, garage door, gate to drive, houselights control, and push the button on the car and follow the owner'* manual directions for programming it in. You could have three different garage doors, e.g.

3 different doors, between say 3 different houses?

Though I only need it to work for 2 houses right now.......

yes its possible. thats why there are three buttons. just program each button separately.
