Default Won't start when hot...

I'm having a problem with warm starts. Initially in the morning the car starts just fine. However, after driving her for a few minutes if I turn her off she won't start until she'* cold again. I changed the starter and I'm still having the same problem. Any advice as to what this could be?

Thanks in advance,

On some cars, the coolant temp sensor will do this... on others the ignition module will do this

Yes, she will crank, but just won't start.

This morning I pulled her out of the garage, cut her off, went into the house for 5 minutes, came back out and she wouldn't start. I tried over and over again, until I almost drained the battery. So I let her sit for about 5 hours tried again and she cranked right over; let her run for 15 minutes, shut her off and she wouldn't start again.

Any help would be great. Again, thanks in advance,

If you're thinking about having the Ignition Control Module tested, don't bother. The testing machines will show good for bad ICMs.

Crank but no start? I'd be very interested in a good scan myself, your double-check your VATS bypass.

Where is your PCM located after the swap?

Vats should prime the fuel pump and give about 5 seconds of fuel. After that it would stall out. I would be aiming toward ICM before VATS on this one..

Sounds to me like a combination of the fuel pump not maintaining pressure, and the fuel pressure regulator bleeding down.

Have you checked to see if there is fuel in the rail when you turn on the key? You can do that by simply pressing on the shrader valve. Be very careful not to get fuel in your eyes when you try that!

Yes in addition to fuel you need to check for spark at the plugs when she gets hot.
Could be a coil acting up when hot or a bad connector/ prong on the ICM cable or crank sensor cable.
Could also be the crank sensor itself. A mechanic said to pour cold water on the crank sensor when hot and if it starts there is your problem.
