If I was to remove the wipers and realign them, then they would not go up all the way to where they are supposed to. They either dont go down all the way and if i adjust then they dont go up all the way. We are only talking a matter of inches but still annoying. Any ideas? Guess when I have time I might have to start taking things apart.

Sounds like you bent your wiper transmission. Pull off the cowl moulding and bend the crooked rod you find back straight.
