Default wipers and headlights

ok so here in maryland it is apparently illegal to drive with ur wipers on w/o ur headlights on so i was thinking i really like the twilight sentenial thingy which turns on my lights automatically at night....do any of u think its possible to like when i turn on my wipers to have the headlights turn on automatically? or have any of u done this? ( i know this sounds weird and maybe not possible but i thought id give it a shot )

Advance and Auto Zone both sell adapters for this. I don't know how they are installed but they do seem to sell pretty well.

Theoretically....yes.

In practice, im not sure, you'd have to get a service manual and check the wiring.

New Jersey has the same law and it makes good sense. Just how dark does it have to get for the Twilight Sentinel to automatically turn on your headlights??? Is it adjustable to light sensitivity???

Hard to say. Even the service manual is vague about that. "Pretty dark" is how I would describe it.

Is it adjustable to light sensitivity???
No, only for the length of time that it keeps the lights on after shutdown, from 5 seconds to 4 minutes, depending on the position of the control ring on the headlamp switch.
