window problems

On my driver dide door the window will not go up could it be the window motor?

Were there any strange sounds when you opened it the last time? Was it acting really slow for a while? When you try to put it up is there any noise at all, like can you hear the motor engage or is it just all totally dead?

it makes a clicking noise when i push down and nothing when i push it up

I would have thought a dead motor would not make any sound at all, on the up or down, but I'm not an expert. Can anyone else add anything?

maybe a bad switch? I would think that the click when trying to go down would tell me the motor is ok still. if it clicked when going up but just didn't go up I'd say motor but it sounds like there might not be any power getting there at all. if you have a multimeter you might be able to pull the door apart and check that, if you feel comfortable doing that.

just my opinion though, my motors haven't given me any trouble yet, knock on wood.
