Actually I've noticed a bunch of need to fix items for you Steve. It might be a long list. However you might consider posting them all and the symptoms in one thread.

Look for consistency and post as much information as possible. We'll help you get back up and running.

Steve, you're going to need help with that power steering pump. It'* not easy on an SSEi. Damn near impossible. Or it'll seem that way for awhile. I don't think you should be pulling it off without determining whether or not it'* needed first.

I agree that the pump is difficult to remove. I removed mine from my '92 SSE */c last week.
Disconnecting the pump is relatively easy, but getting it out of the engine compartment is another matter.

Good luck.

Steve...I believe what Bill means is see if there'* any diagnosis to follow from the manual that explains if the problem is the pump or the other parts that are fed from the pump.

It doesn't have to leak anywhere visible...might be internal...

I will say on MOST I'd suspect the pump. However with magna steer and things I haven't seen before I'm hesitant to condem the pump.

What does your chiltons tell you for a diagnosis? Has it already condemed the pump?
