The power steerring pump that i have on the 93 is for the superchargerd motor and was wondering if its the same fotr the seriess II */c motor?

I'm going through the process of getting a power steering pump for my supercharged '92 today, and it'* not pleasant because nobody makes or sells rebuilt pumps for the supercharged version because it has electronic variable steering. The only option is to buy a new one, and the dealer price is $426!

The power steering pump for the supercharged engine version is the same part from '92 to '95, but the supercharged '96 uses a different pump.

Correct. It will not work, Steve. Very little from that 93 motor will work on the 96.

I just called murray'* and they said without the resevoir its 78.99 with the core and a liftime warrenty. im going to get one of those. want me to call and see how much they want for your 92? im in chicago. maybe they can ship it to your location.

ok....hears the deal do you need the resevoir and pump or just the pump? they have it with the veriable assit. If you need both items, ship me your core and i can get the pump for you for $100.99 with the $0 core. then i can ship you the goods back and your all set.

Is the resevior (mentally challenged) part of the pump or seperate?

Steve, maybe it would help if you told us your SYMPTOMS? How can we tell if you need either or both parts?

does it leak? if so where from the res or the pump itself? is the bearing whining?
