So I determined that the struts are not the issued but, when I took it to a different Sears, they balanced the tires and they showed me that the rim was bent. One of the wheels was more defected than the other 4.

So,,, Wheel repair, of rim repair... Has anybody ever done that or ever had that issue?

My original rims cost $500. each from the Dealer... (that'* crazy!!!) to repair under $200.
And Sears would replace the tires brand new.

Help...

They F... put the bad tires on the front and it shakes like a mother...

This is ridiculous.

I have the same problem. But mine starts at 55mph. I rotated the tires, changed the rotors and pads. (The carbon pads are great if you dont want to clean your front wheels all the time) My 98 Bonne did the same thing. I changed the struts on that and it MOSTLY went away. I just don't want to change stuts again ($$$) in-case its something else. I'm bringing it to the dealer this week and will post if they find something.

How is it going... Every day I drive about 40 miles one way to work, I purchased 4 brand new tires from Sears...and the shaking was still there. I changed everything, well almost everything, not the struts. I have no money, and for the brake system (calipers, pads, rotors-front wheel drive only) I did it my self. The shaking still hapenning and Sears obviously say is the struts, $$$. But I told them that the Dealer checked them and the struts are fine. So I went to a different Sears and they balanced the tires again. So they found that the Wheel (rim) is bent... Oh well, so I have been shopping for the best rim, from Dealer is $555.00 each. And to repair each rim is about $185.00 each. So I'm shopping for used Rims for my model bonnie.

I have a feeling that the reason is the out of round of the rim. I hope that'* the problem once and for all, also for you.

Right before I purchase these 2 rims from a used part company fix the problem I wanted to ask the profesinals here whether I should buy them or now, if I do I will be paying only $100.00 for each.

Is there a way of testing if it is the rim...

Thanx guys

cool beans.

don't forget about brake hoses. my front passenger hose was bad and caused my caliper to stick, ruined a new set of pads and a rotor. the hoses are made to withstand high pressures and the can go bad on the inside causing the hose to kink off and not release pressure from the caliper.
