Default Whining noises

I see someone posted a message for noises because of the when they turn the steering wheel but i don't want to get no one confused but gm V6'* does this naturally unless it'* very very load. All the 6'* ive had whined and it wasn't anything wrong with it. My cousin works for GM in Indiana and we talked about that and he said that the cars that he had done the same and if it didnt somethings wrong

I was the one who posted it. I wasn't quite sure if it was a normal noise or not(it is pretty loud). the steering is not compromised at all from what I can tell. I also own a Jeep Grand Cherokee and it does not make this noise when turning.

P/* Pumps will WHINE if low on fluid or internally bypassing in the rack & pinion gear! If it was a normal whine it would do it ALL the time as long as the P/* pulley was turning!
