How do I take the lens covers off on the interior lights? Do they just pop out somehow? I want to put some gel caps I have left over from past mods over the lights to make the interior red. Yes I'm tired and bored and done with classwork for tomarrow, gives me something to do outside.
They all pry out from one end. You'll see a slight detent. Just use a small screwdriver. DeathRat converted all his to red. You can get the red 194'* that go in the footwells, but the other lamps he may have to help you with. The clearance/entry lights in the doors just pop out, then the cover pops off.
I'd be afraid of gels getting too hot. Not much space between the lamp and the cover. I've seen that STYLE of lamp in red, but always the longer version, not the little 'shorty'*' we have in ours. I dunno what the Rat did....but I think it was all red lamps. Have you searched the net yet?

No, just had an idea that would cost nothing :P
I might run up to autozone after classes tomarrow and see what they got for cheap.
(bored and wating for few things to come in mail for my car)

You gotta find the ones that actually use colored glass. A1C makes some, but I don't know what P/N'* they do.......too tired to search right now! (just did my front brakes and PMV today)
ALL my Interior Lights are now red! I used red 194'* (APC'*) in the front footwells (under the dash) AND red LENS REPAIR TAPE in a 6' roll for everything else! The roll is available of most auto parts stores. It'* 6' X 1" (or so) & the perfect width to cover out light covers w/o any trimming!
