Well, I was pretty sure it was fine in that aspect, since the car is 14 years old... if the problem was going to come about, I'm sure it would have happened by now lol.

If you're willing to take that chance, it'* your choice. The dealer can check your car'* recall status over the phone by VIN.

Too late for free work now, but the lines are only $30 apiece. I was too late for the recall, and my failure and resulting fire were 4 years ago.
