Well, I was pretty sure it was fine in that aspect, since the car is 14 years old... if the problem was going to come about, I'm sure it would have happened by now lol.

If you're willing to take that chance, it'* your choice. The dealer can check your car'* recall status over the phone by VIN.

Agreed... Call the dealership and see if the Recall is still valid.... Might get a set of free trans lines out of it...

If one of those lines pop, fluid can be sprayed onto the exahust manifold... Not a good result either
